We loaded tonight and we are blown away by how fast it was finished. Our belongings were in a 10 by 20 storage unit, and we had a total of about 16 people that showed up to help us. We started at 4:30pm and were finished by 6:00. We had so much help from our wonderful friends. We even had to bring everything down from the second floor on elevators and we still finished in an hour and a half. The most wonderful part was getting to see the people that mean so much to us one last time before we leave Fort Worth at 7:00 am in the morning. There were many friends we didn’t get to see this time . . . its been a quick couple of days . . . but isn’t it great that when we leave one place and move to another we can always know that if we’re in Christ we will see one another again. I mean I know I’m getting spiritual here but this is reality for me today. We don’t weep as those who have no hope! That is truly a reason to rejoice.
Plus, consider this a (somewhat) personal invitation for all of our friends to come and stay with us in California. If you love us enough to get there you will have a bed and some meals . . . and a really kickin’ church to go to on Sunday 🙂
