Yosemite National Park is definitely worth the trip. We only had 2 and a half days there but you could spend over a week just seeing the sights and hiking all over the place. The reason we chose to go in May is because we’ve heard it was the best time to view the waterfalls. They are the fullest they’ve been in years right now according to those who work in the park.
My favorite was Bridalveil Falls. You can actually hike up so close that you get drenched, which we did. I’ve posted a picture of it from the other side of the valley so you can get an idea of what it looks like. It doesn’t come close to capturing what we saw in person. Yosemite valley is probably my favorite place I’ve ever been so far. The Grand Canyon is also amazing, but they are in such totally different categories that you can’t really compare them. Honestly when I was looking at these waterfalls I had this gripping feeling that it was a small glimpse of what eternity will be like with our brilliant creator. I almost felt like His presence was there in a special way. I already can’t wait to go back!
