Much has transpired in the weeks since I wrote my last blog. . . I went on maternity leave from work (and yes I feel great about that), our crib arrived and we put it together (although we are still waiting on a replacement part because it was damaged-pictures to come soon!) David and I roasted an 18lb turkey and celebrated Thanksgiving with friends. South Bay Church moved offices so we spent the entire week after Thanksgiving painting, moving furniture, assembling new furniture, and hanging things on walls. I am excited to post pics of the new office soon. We should be paid to advertise for IKEA! We purchased our Christmas tree and have finally got it stabilized so it won’t fall, and the lights and ornaments are on! Baby dresser and nightstand arrive on Friday, and then we can finally put our house back together! It has been a complete mess for basically a month!
Regarding the baby who is growing and very busy inside my tummy, things are going well. I am 35 weeks and counting. Overall its been really smooth sailing still. I am starting to have a bit of difficulty staying asleep at night, and I have an occasional sharp pain in my right ribcage, but other than that nothing really to speak of. No complaints here! We started an awesome childbirth class and look forward to the weeks ahead!
