Do you ever wish you just had an unlimited budget to buy all fresh, organic, all natural, hormone-free everything? If you’re like me you check the ingredients in all food items you buy and try not to purchase anything that has an ingredient you can’t spell or pronounce. But that can get so expensive! Not to mention overwhelming and time consuming. Well I have found some awesome food products lately that I just need to share!
So….On Fridays this fall I will be posting blogs to get the word out on what my family goes hunting for regularly! Most of these items I’ve found at Trader Joes and Costco. Maybe on occasion from somewhere else but I want to keep it from places my friends would actually shop anyways and not some obscure place no one has heard of. Who wants to go to an additional store, especially with small kids like me!! When it comes to grocery stores, less is more, right?
This week I would like to highlight these nifty little organic One Bun Folded Flats. We have really come to love these things. Only 130 calories and they taste GREAT, plus the ingredients are pretty legit. Look for them at Costco on the bread isle. They come in bags of 15 and are 5.99 per bag. They are produced by Ozery Bakery in Ontario Canada.
So far we have used them for quesadillas (just yesterday) and hot dogs. Who wants to eat ballpark hot dogs anymore though, right? I mean why not just swallow a baseball bat while you’re at it? But it’s getting into fall weather and David and I love cooking hot dogs outside over an open flame fire pit!
Check back next Friday for an awesome hotdog food find.
Oh-and if you’ve got food finds you want to share go for it! Blog, tweet, post, reply, comment, whatever;) I’d love to get ideas from you too!
